Description

This program can be delivered as single or multiple sessions to reinforce life-skills necessary for every child’s success such as following instructions, critical thinking, problem solving and creativity. These life-skill enrichment programs include both instruction and application. Students discover the exciting world of cooking and areas covered include: crafts, fitness, nutrition, safety and relationship building. Students are engaged with hands-on activities to build self-identity, self-awareness, self-correcting skills and self-esteem. Fun and practical enrichment activities are presented allowing each student to build focus and achieve more in life while developing a sense of worth and value that they can use for a lifetime. Chefsville Kids brings the world of cooking ‘alive’ to students resulting in added value they bring to their family. Each child learns what it means to apply reading, math, language arts, science, social science, arts and physical education in their world outside of school. Several programs allow each child to bring home some of their projects. All activities and exercises were made with TEKS in mind and to fulfill the learning needs of multiple grade levels.
