Description

In our after-school sessions, Mad science certified instructors reinforce scientific concepts and principles taught by your own teachers. Using fun, high-energy, inquiry-based, hands-on methods, our instructors bring science ‘alive’ in after-school sessions. Over 60 enrichment modules provide extensive coverage of topics for children in Elementary and Middle Schools – in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Earth Science. Each enrichment-module is designed to meet learning needs of multiple grades. Depending on grade and age, pertinent concepts and principles are emphasized – in alignment with TEKS. Finally, each child in every session gets to take-home their in-class project.

Students Will

  • Revisit related key concepts and principles already taught in class
  • Identify specific concept(s) and Principle(s) to be reinforced during the after-school session
  • Develop a hypothesis, conduct experiments, gather data, make observations and reach conclusions, working individually and in groups
  • Work on Mad Science provided in-class and take-home projects, which they get to carry home after each class.
