Description
Shoshana introduces students to photography as an art form. Keeping a critical eye to the photographer within, each student will develop a greater understanding of subject matter composing and framing photographs. Principles of composition, perspective, design, light, white space and visual storytelling will be discussed in conjunction with different subjects, such as portraiture, still life and abstract. Students will learn how to engage as a critic to evaluate their work. Culminates in a campus exhibition

Duration: Five one hour sessions - more can be added for a more in-depth experience.
School Fee: 5 days x 2 classes = $750. Supply fee of $2.00 per student.

Deadline: Minimum of three weeks prior to requested start date.
Cancellation Policy: A program is confirmed when you receive your contract by mail, fax, or email. Should illness, inclement weather or other unforeseen circumstances prevent the program taking place as scheduled, Young Audiences will offer the option of rescheduling or using a substitute artist. Programs canceled by a school or community presenter after confirmation are subject to full payment. A $25 rescheduling fee will be charged if a schedule change is requested after a program has been confirmed.
After School Policy: A teacher or afterschool employee must remain with class at all times.
